Hawaii 5010

 

A small aperture in the piece pulses and emulates a far horizon line. The interval between the pulses is taken from the wave interval reading from a shipping buoy in the Irish sea. The piece has also used data from Pachube and a buoy in Hawaii called 5010.

Dublin Port

 

Dublin Port: A live web feed outputs the name of the next ship in and next ship out from dublin port. The` slowly changing text and names of the ships reveal a web of histories territories and distance.
